She is a very happy bear that loves playing in the snow. She was confiscated in March 1996 at the Krystallopigi Customs Office, through where an aspiring “bear tamer” tried to import her illegally in our country. She was very stressed and frightened; she had suffered severe physical abuse and constantly expressed a stereotypical behavior by licking continuously her front leg paw, growling persistently at the same time. She joined the Sanctuary around the age of 15 months, weighting about 14 kilos and it took her very long to adjust. She now weights over 80 kilos and plays with “Giorgakis” all the time, without having totally discarded her stereotypical behavior.
