Katerina, The powerful nan

In the summer of 1988, a 6-month-old baby bear was found in Heroes' Square in Florina and transferred to the city's Zoo. Ten years later, her life changes completely, as she comes to ARCTUROS, where she receives the appropriate care. Although scared at first, she becomes the "fear and terror" of the other bears! She climbs up 30 meter trees in seconds and refuses to be approached by anyone. Nowadays, she is quiet and friendly, mostly hanging out with the other grandmothers of the Bear Conservation Area, Irene and Tasoula.
