Tasoula, The famous blonde bear!

In May 1993, a shepherd in the forest of Pedino in Florina sees a tiny bear cub crying, perched on a tree. She is only 2 months old and weighs 4.5 kg! ARCTUROS tries to locate the mother, but to no avail and Tasoula becomes the 1st orphaned bear cub to be transferred to the Bear Conservation Area for permanent habitation. Tasoula is very popular and social with both humans and other bears. She often approaches the fence when she sees visitors. She hangs out with her peers, Katerina and Irene, and likes to chase young Bradley and Cooper.
